Estimated 30-day subtotal

Enter two meter readings and their dates to see consumption and a 30-day projection.

The 30-day figure assumes the same daily pace. It is an independent tariff estimate and can differ from the distributor invoice.
01

Copy whole readings

Use the cumulative kWh values shown by the meter. The current value must be equal to or higher than the previous value.

02

Use the real dates

The calculator divides usage by the exact number of days, which makes short and long reading periods comparable.

03

Treat the forecast as a pace

The 30-day result assumes the same daily average. Weather, occupancy and appliance use can change the final bill.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate electricity use from two meter readings?

Subtract the previous cumulative kWh reading from the current reading. Watt Egypt also divides that difference by the elapsed calendar days.

Why does the 30-day estimate differ from my measured period?

The forecast applies the measured daily average to 30 days and rounds projected kWh to the whole-unit input required by the tariff calculation.

Where is my saved meter reading stored?

Only in local browser storage on this device. There is no account and the reading is not uploaded by this feature.

Will the result equal my distributor invoice?

No. It estimates the official residential tariff subtotal. Distributor adjustments, arrears, cleaning, meter balance and other invoice items may differ.
